Albany Leadership Charter High School for Girls will be holding virtual forums to allow us to share with students, parents/guardians, staff and community members what we are doing to ensure the safest and most high-quality learning experience as we consider plans for reopening in September. It will also be an opportunity to ask questions and provide input regarding these plans and measures.
Guidance for the reopening of schools from the Governor, NYS Education Department, (SED) NYS Department of Health (DOH), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), was provided last week and can be accessed via the respective links below. Since the release of the guidance, ALH Leadership has been diligently poring over the volumes and working through the guidelines in order to develop the best plans for the 2020-2021 school year with the health and safety of our community at the forefront, and student success and achievement paramount.
The reopening forums will be facilitated by Ms. Carmen Serrano, our Family Liaison, as scheduled below:
