Community

Partners

Albany Leadership is always looking for more ways to partner with community organizations. Below is an overview of some of the ways we partner.

Service Learning

Our students must complete a minimum of 100 hours of service while at Albany Leadership. If you would be interested in having students at your organization for this, please reach out.

Internships

The Albany Leadership Internship Program provides meaningful work experience that gives students an understanding of the skills and educational requirements needed in the career field of their interest as well as introduces students to positive role models in the field who will share their experience and professional expertise. The program sets to reflect the NYSED guidelines for the CEIP program through strategic design by providing 12th grade students the opportunity to explore real-world career development through

  • Job Interviewing
  • Job Shadowing
  • Career Awareness
  • Work Experience
  • Professional Skill Development

Women’s Career Day

Each March, we host women from different career backgrounds to talk with our students about their path to where they are.

Speaking Opportunities

In addition to our designated Women’s Career Day, we always welcome guest speakers to come in and talk with our students. If you have a passion for what you do, please reach out to see how we can bring you in to talk with our students.

If you think your organization might be the right fit for an ALH partnership, don’t hesitate to reach out! Contact Natalie Orcutt, Director of Advancement at norcutt@albanyleadershiphigh.org or fill out and submit the form below.

Thank you for taking the first step, and we appreciate your commitment to the young women we serve everyday!
