We currently have openings for the following positions

  • Math Teacher: Seeking a full-time position. Bachelor’s Degree required, NYS certification preferred.
  • English Language Arts: Seeking a full-time position. Bachelor’s Degree required, NYS certification preferred.
  • School Business Administrator/ School Business Official: seeking a full-time position. Requirements: Required School Business Administrator Certificate or Certified Public Accountant license. Click here for a position description.
  • Resident Teacher(s): seeking full-time Math, ELA and Social Studies/Science positions. Bachelor’s Degree required and NYS Certification preferred.
  • Substitute Teacher: Seeking a full-time position. High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Albany Leadership happily accepts resumes throughout the school year for the following positions:

  • Teachers, All Subject Areas: NYS 7-12 Certification required.
  • English Language Learning Teacher:  Seeking a full-time teacher to provide support for ENL students in grades 9-12. TESOL certification preferred, but not required. He/she may also be asked to help with modifying assignments and creating differentiated materials for classes.
  • Substitute Teacher: Seeking Per Diem substitute teachers. High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • English Language Arts: Seeking a full-time position. Bachelor’s Degree required, NYS certification preferred.
  • Math Teacher: Seeking a full-time position. Bachelor’s Degree required, NYS certification preferred.
  • Living Environment Teacher: Seeking a full-time position. Bachelor’s Degree required, NYS certification preferred.
  • Special Education Teacher: Seeking a full-time teacher who has a high school certification. A math background is preferred, not required.
  • Discipline Associate: Seeking a full-time position. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Dean of Students and all school staff to monitor the conduct of students to cultivate a high-quality environment that promotes quality learning for each and every student. You will also develop strategies to champion the engagement and growth of all students, while promoting positive behavior for the school. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. At least one year of experience working with adolescents. Experience at the High School level is preferred. Candidates should posses an understanding of student needs in an urban Charter School environment.
